'OakenHighland started with a dream to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Rome. The Rossi family opened this pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-run business with recipes passed down for generations.

During her time in Italy, Marco Rossi, our founder, mastered the art of pizza-making from expert pizzaiolos in Naples, the homeland of pizza. Back in the UK, she sought to recreate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, employing the traditional methods and acquiring the finest ingredients.

What started as a humble 12-seat pizzeria has evolved into a cherished local fixture, though our dedication to quality and the authentic experience remains steadfast. Our kitchen still employs the techniques of wood-fired ovens, prepares dough from scratch every day, and selects top-quality components for our dishes.

Today, 'OakenHighland' is still in the hands of the Rossi family, now with the second generation at the helm, guiding our enthusiastic team. Even as we have welcomed new advancements, our business's soul remains focused on crafting delicious, genuine pizza that unites folks.
